Fiat Strada é a 5ª mais vendida

(06-06-11) - A Strada, da Fiat, alcançou este ano a quinta posição no ranking dos veículos mais vendidos no Brasil. Em maio, a picape vendeu 10.227 unidades, confirmando a posição conquistada desde fevereiro.

É a primeira vez nos últimos 60 anos que uma picape ocupa um posto dessa relevância.
Nos anos 1950 a F100, da Ford, era um dos veículos mais vendidos, chegando a ficar em segundo lugar em 1957 e em terceiro em 1958. Na época predominavam as vendas de veículos de uso misto. Essa tendência se reverteu com a chegada do Fusca, em 1960.
Mas uma picape nunca esteve entre os cinco mais vendidos no País.

A concorrente Saveiro, da Volks, também teve ótimo desempenho, ocupou a 11ª posição em maio, com 7.128 unidades.

Nas primeiras posições não houve alterações: o Gol manteve a liderança, o Uno permanece em segundo e o Celta em terceiro. Completam a lista dos Dez Mais o Corsa sedã (incluídas as vendas do Classic), Siena, Fox, Fiesta hatch, Palio e Voyage.

O Corolla, apesar da queda de vendas, mantém a posição de mais vendido no segmento e o City perdeu espaço para o Cerato. O sedã da Kia vendeu 3.064 unidades em maio.
Outro destaque é o Jetta, da Volks, que no primeiro mês cheio de vendas vendeu 1.745 unidades.

O J3, da JAC vendeu 1.927 unidades. A versão sedã, J3 Turin, 1.113. São os dois chineses melhor classificados no ranking.
